icmp-exfil

Send a short message in an IPv4 ICMP echo-request payload. Educational use on systems and networks you are authorized to test.

Usage

On the receiver:

sudo ./recv.py

On the sender:

./send.py 192.0.2.10 "hello"

For old hosts without Linux ping sockets:

sudo python2 send_raw.py 192.0.2.10 "hello"

script	requires
send.py	Linux 3.0+, Python 3.6+
send_raw.py	root, Python 2.5+
recv.py	root or CAP_NET_RAW, Python 3.6+

One packet carries one message. There is no encryption, authentication, chunking, ordering, retry, or stealth. ICMP may be blocked or logged. Keep messages short to avoid MTU limits.
